_____Random Info
This is the first infra red shot taken with a Haida IR72. I'm not entirely content with the filter but I really liked the picture so I decided to edit and upload it. The building you see is at the Ruhr-University in Bochum and I walk past it twice a day each time I got to the uni and I always wanted to shoot it just somehow I never got around to do it; so today I figured I should test my new IR filter on it. Glady the weather was perfect for the subject and I actually ended up with 8 exposures which had interesting clouds so I may even upload another one with the same motif and different angle & clouds if I get the time to do so.

Either way I'm not sure whether to keep the filter since it does let through light below 720nm I assume down to 580nm at least for the raws are extremely red - orangeish and the WB can't be corrected in the RAW Converter since the value doesn't go below 2000 which I would need to actually get white leaves and such. But maybe the K5s high pass filter is also a little to strong. I still have to run some tests in order to make out why the color results don't look like the ought to. But damn am I happy I went out today to get this shot. Hope you like it too.

On my 500px Acc. you can also check out a different approach to the scenery with a longer exposure and more clouds: 500px.com/photo/9802825

_____Update Info
After taking several looks at the picture the last days, and posting the alternate version on 500px and 1x.com I figured that the original version somehow looked way to artificial so I decided to give it a complete reedit. Again though not using the complete tonality to keep it from looking overexposed which it isn't. If you like a darker approach check the 500px version. ;)

Wow...just wow...this shot is so breathtaking! Really!

I love how everything in the picture stays in a sort of indigo, grey scale. It gives it a certain moody feel to it that gives me chills! . And the shot itself is just amazing, with a perfect angle. Also, it's really cool how you smudged the sky, but the building remains immaculate, really making it stand out against the sky. I can't stress enough how beautifully dark this picture is

Also, you must have a really high def camera to be able to get such a clear shot! And I like how your logo is up in the corner so that it doesn't distract to much from this amazing shot.

Though, for originality, I'm only giving this three stars because buildings like this have been photographed before. Though, that doesn't mean we should stop photographing them

All in all, it's a marvelous picture. Keep up the good work
