Planning the trip to the Iberian Peninsula for this year I talked to SvenMueller about whether we had some shots from last year that we for any reason did not edit yet, so I browsed through the shots again and found this piece. It was our first evening at the Almograve and it was rather warm even during the sundown so we went barefoot through the dunes down to this beach which was a little further away from the rest of the more known beaches of the area since we had scouted beforehand that there were some interesting rocks and even a little creek. Although it was quite though to decided what composition I wanted to go for during this low tide since there was so much to take into consideration the little brook somehow felt like a more interesting foreground than the sandy beach with a couple of stones swept in by the surge. I'm pretty content with the composition at hand. Also I tried to try a little different approach for the editing going for a colder white balance since the water was indeed still pretty cold and the colors weren't really warm to begin with. I hope you like the outcome.
