_____Random Info
This is my second shot from my recent trip to the Island Rügen in the Baltic Sea, taken at the famous pier called "See Brücke" - sea bridge in Sellin.

As the title suggests this is a shot taken before the dawn, actually even before 4am had passed. JanPusdrowski and I got up at 3am after being out in the field until around 11pm the day before and were quite sleepy to be honest but it's was sure worth it. I just get a very comfortable feeling walking the streets of a tourist capital (well maybe that is a bit exaggerated but still at daytime there's quite a bustle) while they are empty and completely deserted. We actually saw exactly 2 people on our way to the pier. But being a little tired also has drawbacks such as a lack of care; as a matter of fact I dropped my Hoya Pro1 CPL along with my step up filter and subsequently the sea took it only a few minutes after I took this shot. So 125€ went swimming and were lost, guess worse things could've happened though.

I actually took about 30 shots of this location since JanPusdrowski and I stayed there until around 6am; so I also have a regular short exposure shot after the sun had arisen which I will upload after editing something different so the few watchers I have won't get bored.

Also I would like to note that I kept the slight blue tone to it and didn't actually change the white balance since I liked the notion of it although it's not that much of a "blue-hour-shot" since you can already see some orange on the horizon line. Anyway hope you enjoy this one and if you do you might as well check out this one fav.me/d202kas by GfN which made me aware of the location.

_______Update Info
I decided that adding some more saturation and redo the sharpening as well as adding my obligatory frame was a good idea thus I did.

First of all I will say this photo caught my eyes out of all the critique-able photos. I really love this style of photo and I have taken a few myself.

For vision I rate this shot as 4.5, you really took the time to get up early and shot this great location. You have obviously researched the location and picked the perfect conditions for the photo.

This photo gets a 4.5 for originality as you have set it apart from similar shots. The pier leading from the left side really works rather than central viewpoint normally used.

Technique scores a perfect 5. You have done everything here right, the composition rule of thirds has really paid off. The exposure is pefect, the focus is sharp and the detail is very vidid. You have true skill and have put it to great use here.

Impact scores a 4, it does stand out but the sky is just a tad dull. It's very hard to fault this photo and I really don't know how you could add more impact without removing from the high quality.

Overall you have produced an extremely well thought out and composed photograph. Well done!
