_____Random Info
The first waterfall picture from my recent trip through Wales. I always wanted to try shooting downstream rather than shooting upstream but never ended up with something satisfying. So I tried this procedure a couple of times during my trip and this is one of the best shots that really seem to work way better than the upstream ones. I like how the different elements direct the viewers gaze and keep it within the picture at most places rather then leading out of it.

The waterfall displayed is called Rhaeadr Ewynnol in Welsh and it's English trivial name is Swallow Falls. Actually it's a very famous waterfall but there are only few images of the lower falls for the upper ones are easier to work with. Sadly - and as always - it was raining while I worked with the camera but the trees above me provided decent shelter so it wasn't as hard as the shooting at Marloes Beach the prior morning. Fortunately the continuous rain resulted in lush green colors all around Wales so at least I had one advantage on my side.

This is basically the start of a series of Welsh waterfalls since I visited quite a few so expect at least 3-4 more in the near future.

Note: I edited this on a regular Acer Laptop so I'm not quite sure about the tonalities and color of the image since Acer monitors aren't the best for editing. So I'd appreciate people to tell me if I got things right just by judging the histogram. :D

Love this! The green and blue color tones are perfect and the composition is stunning!
