_______Tech Info

   Slik 780 DX Pro | SH-807E
   Aperture: f/8
   Shutter Speed: 1/6s | 1/2s | 1,5s | 4s
   ISO-Value: 80
   Focal Length: 14mm
   Filters: Hoya Pro1 ND8
   Time: 7:53pm

_____Random Info
Another shot from Praia de Malhao and as mentioned in my last shot I uploaded the sky really went crazy, I never had to desaturate a channel during raw processing before but it seems that the histogram of my Pentax K5 didn't recognize that the red channel was over the top when I took the darker two exposures for this shot. I must say that I was really excited that evening. SvenMueller and I had been waiting for a really colorful sunset almost all the trip and on the last evening we finally got something worth our money. Sven was running over the beach one spot to another trying to get as many compositions with this great sky and so was I. One of that moments that pays for all the hardships and the money spent. I also have a couple of other great compositions maybe I'll add another one when I get around to do so.

_____Update Info
After getting some feedback from StefanHefele I decided to add some more contrast to the foreground to further weaken the slight HDR feeling that my processing led to. Now it looks a bit more 'in your face' ;)

I'm not sure if I understand symbolism behind your title, but this photo looks definitely amazing!
Reply
:iconnicolasalexanderotto:
Hehe, thanks. Actually I just thought the title had something emotive to it. It just poped up in my mind. ;)

I'm pretty sure it's a line from the Lion king
Mufasa shows Simba the kingdom and says that I think

:iconnicolasalexanderotto:
Might be, although I haven't seen that movie in I assume around 18 years so I'd wonder why it suddenly appeared in the back of my head. ;)

I haven't see the movie in quite a while but the photo and title immediately reminded me of it

Gefällt mir sehr gut! Wirklich ein top Bild.

Nur eine Frage bzw. Kleinigkeit:

Sagt mir zumindest mein erster Eindruck.
