_____Random Info
It's been some time since I had the time to actually edit a shot from SvenMueller and my last trip to Portugal. I've been caught up in work for my band and our release as well as semester start and writing essays. Glad that I was actually able to sit down a couple of hours and edit a little tonight.

I've been working on my exposure blending for some time now and slowly but surely it's progressing. For this I had quite some help from SvenMueller & hougaard and I am content with the outcome. Looking forward to editing some of my other pictures as well.

This shot is from the 4th day of our venture after we headed from Sintra down through Lisboa to the Algarve. The beach this was taken on is call Praia do Malhao and is certainly very photogenic and we were quite lucky with the weather as well. The clouds could've been a little more spread out but still it was a nice start after the sunsets at Praia da Adraga were completely ruined by the lack of clouds and after that entirely shrouded by rainclouds. Hope you like the image as much as I do.

I really like this one! Noticed you used the 10-20 from sigma, I've heard that there are barrel issues with the horizon when shooting with this lens. Have you run into any problems? Thanks.

:iconnicolasalexanderotto:
Actually not, depending on where the horizon is. If it is not in the top or bottom quarter (which is usually a no go for compositions) the lens does not lead to any obstacles of that kind. :)

Ok, thanks very much. It a lens I considering buying. That or the Tokina wide-angle. :)

I heard a lot of good about the Tokina - best thing being the bigger aperture value. I would've gotten the Tokina if they would produce'em for Pentax' K-mount. ;)

eh bummer. Trying to figure what goes best with Nikon. Tokina or Sigma. Prob doesn't matter. :)

:iconnicolasalexanderotto:
Well, either you get 2mm more or you get a better aperture value. ;)
