_____Random Info
This is my 2nd approach at the Lac Blanc situated in the Aiguilles Rouge in France. This shot was taken a little later than the horizontal approach and this time I had my circular polarizer on to cleanse the lakes surface of the reflection but only so much that the waters actual color does become visible to contrast the gentle violet tones of the morning light also because it did start raining and the surface wasn't as still anymore. Furthermore the light cinnamon tones of the stones fit into the image quite well I suppose. In contrast to the other image which is linked below I did adjust the white balance here a bit more to add a warmer feeling which seemed natural due to the sunrise's light peeking through the clouds here and there; you can actually see it on the rocks on the right side of the cottage.
Due to the lowered aperture value I felt like focusing a little more on the foreground instead of the mountains as I did in the first image was advantageous in this case.
_______Update Info
Recently I have been looking through some more pictures here and there, editing new ones and also looking through old ones and changing some things here and there. So I figured I add some more tonality via the levels tool in this picture and do a new channel blend to get the stones in the foreground a little crisper.
Here you can see the first approach as well as read some more information about the location and how SvenMueller and I got there:
