This is the first shot from my tour through Wales last week. The picture shows Marloes Beach at dawn my camera facing south. I've actually planned to shoot the beach for a sunset but the sun actually set so far to the north that it wasn't possible also the tide had swallowed almost all of the beach so I walked south on the ridge of the cliffs to catch the sun set but sadly it was blocked by clouds once I reached the tip you can see in the background.
After a very rainy night I decided to try shooting the sunrise instead and hoped for some colorful clouds (which I got in the evening but not for long). What I got was a lack of color and lots of rain - after I did about 3 compositions it started raining after I had been walking the trail down to the beach in the rain already, fortunately I had the time to get the compositions I wanted most before it actually started. Still I resided an additional hour in the rain to see if it may stop after a while so I could get some more shots to see if I get even more spectacular clouds, sadly it didn't so I spent about 3 1/2 hours in the rain for this shot. Note:
I edited this on a regular Acer Laptop so I'm not quite sure about the tonalities of the image since Acer monitors aren't the best for editing. So I'd appreciate people to tell me if I got things right just by judging the histogram.
