   Actually I wanted to update the color version of this shot but during the editing I somehow scrapped that idea and reworked the whole shot from scratch starting with the re-interpretation of the RAWs. I guess in wintertimes I prefer black and white and in summertimes color shots. The editing was taking quite some time because I wanted to achieve that the black and white version does indeed exemplify the advantages of the bw version over the color version. I hope I was able to make it.

Lovely photo. The black and white photo defiantly has much more of an impact then the color photo. The texture in the rocks really pop and give the photo nice depth. The cloud formations are simply stunning. The long exposure creating interesting lines. The mid tones really help to add another layer of depth of the photo. My favorite part by far is the water. I love how on the left side the water is still, it looks like water from a shot exposure photo and how on the right side it's soft and silky from the long exposure. The balance is perfect.
