Taken at the Wageningen University located in the Netherlands this picture shows the Atlas building.

"Atlas is one of the most characteristic buildings of Wageningen Campus. This robust building was named after the muscle-man of Greek mythology. The open mesh structure on the outside of the building is very distinguishing, and actually supports the entire building. Atlas is used by Alterra and the Environmental Sciences Group (ESG)." www.wageningencampus.wur.nl/UK…

I was very happy with the conditions of the shooting. The wind was strong but not too strong leading to fast traveling and well structured clouds but a still tripod. Only a few drops of rain every few minutes so I didn't even have clean my filters all too often. Pretty much the best I could hope for trying some architecture shots at the campus. Although the Sigmas barrel distortion is quite severe it worked out ok I guess. I tried to correct some of the strongest distortions with the warp tool so the outcome looks quite satisfying in my opinion - the low visual noise of the K5 added to the image as well because I didn't have to use any noise reduction what so ever which I sometimes did with the longer exposures with my old K20D. Looking forward to editing maybe another shot from the campus or returning for some night shootings in the coming months.
